NETBRO / SERVICES / LEGACY APPLICATIONS TO CLOUD

Legacy Applications to Cloud

Move legacy business applications to a more supportable platform through assessment-led migration, modern hosting, containers or Kubernetes where appropriate.

Cloud migration and modernisation

Applications and platforms we can assess

The right approach depends on the application architecture, vendor support, customisations, database, integrations, data size and recovery requirements. We assess these before choosing a migration pattern.

01

Alfresco Content Services

We can assess Alfresco installations for version compatibility, repository and database dependencies, custom AMP/JAR extensions, authentication, search services, content stores and integration points. Deployment to containers or Kubernetes must follow the requirements for the exact Alfresco edition and release.

02

Legacy PHP and web applications

Review runtime and framework dependencies, web server configuration, sessions, uploads, scheduled jobs, database connectivity and external integrations before moving to a VM, container or cloud platform.

03

Java and other business applications

Map application servers, JDK versions, middleware, certificates, background workers, network dependencies and licensing. Some applications may need refactoring or vendor-assisted upgrades rather than a direct move.

04

Data, storage and continuity

Plan database migration, object or file storage, backups, secrets, TLS, monitoring, DNS cutover, rollback and recovery testing. Data integrity and business continuity are part of the migration plan.

Next steps

Start with your requirements.

We do not assume every legacy system is suitable for a lift-and-shift migration. An initial discovery and compatibility review identifies risks, target options, dependencies and a realistic migration sequence.
